Anytime is the right time to capture your family’s story. Many families like to book around special milestones such as birthdays, Mother’s Day, or simply when the kids are at a fun stage. That being said, here are some beautiful times to consider for your session:
Your baby is alert, expressive, and just beginning to hold their head up. These early smiles and interactions with you create the sweetest memories.
The big milestone! First birthdays are full of joy, movement, and discovery. Whether with a smash cake or simple family portraits, this age brings endless laughter and excitement.
As your little one starts crawling and showing more of their character, this stage is perfect for candid, playful images that capture their energy and spirit.
Toddlers and older children bring a whole new level of curiosity and connection. These sessions focus on playful moments, family bonds, and capturing the personalities that shine so brightly as your child grows.
Most of my family and motherhood sessions happen outdoors in natural light. At the beach, in a park, or in a location that feels meaningful to you. At-home sessions are also a beautiful option, especially for capturing the cozy, everyday moments.
Sessions typically last 1 hour. This gives us plenty of time for natural interactions, play, and breaks if needed without feeling rushed.
Please don’t stress! I’ve worked with lots of little ones and I know that kids have their own pace. I’ll gently guide you with games, movement, and prompts so that even the most energetic or shy kids open up. Some of the sweetest moments come from letting them just be themselves.
Your session includes my time, direction, and artistic approach, along with access to my style guide and a thoughtfully edited gallery of images.
For smash cake sessions, some simple props and setups are also included, and we’ll plan the details together to make sure the look feels just right for your little one.
Your final gallery will be ready within 1–2 weeks. Every image is hand-edited with care so you can relive the warmth of your session for years to come.
The sitting stage is a favorite—those adorable rolls, chubby cheeks, and curious eyes, all while staying in one spot just long enough for portraits full of personality.
